Online Master’s in Computer Information Systems

This CIS degree program uses a cutting-edge curriculum in information technology, cybersecurity, and health informatics to help you meet the demands of the fast-paced and challenging field of CIS.

The online Master of Science in Computer Information Systems (MSCIS) degree has four options available: Cybersecurity concentration, Health Informatics concentration, thesis option, and non-concentration option. The MSCiS is a 30-credit-hour program offered by the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in the Department of Computer Science. 

 

Cybersecurity and health informatics are lucrative fields that offer tremendous opportunities for professional growth. There are currently 300,000 cyber job openings across the U.S., and the demand for individuals trained in health informatics continues to grow.  As technology evolves and cyber threats increase, the need for individuals with the cutting-edge skills you will acquire in Talladega’s MSCIS program will increase exponentially. 

 

Our curriculum has been carefully designed to align with many recognized industry professional certifications in cybersecurity and health informatics, including Security+, CISSP, PMP, CySA+, and CISM.

 

We carefully designed an 11-week semester system that will allow you to reach your goals and complete your graduate degree in as little as 18 months.

 

The computer information systems master’s offers:
